Hexagon Metrology Ltd offer a full Sub Contract Measurement Service.

Inspection using our CMM's. The Inspection Service uses the latest model CMM's -- offering a superior service.
This service is offered from 2 locations, Telford and Swindon. Component sizes up to 2 metres long. High accuracy probing capability to 1 micron.

Subcontract work can now even be done at your site with our portable arms.

Please let us know with as much detail as possible what you require. 3D CAD files or hard copy drawings are acceptable.
Our CMM's can import CAD data files for part programming from a wide variety of file types: e.g. STEP, IGES etc.
Native Catia, Unigraphics, Pro-Eng, Solidworks etc can be used. If you can provide CAD files then the cost is reduced and turn-round time will be shorter.

Need to reverse engineer? Provide a part and detailed requirement and leave the rest to us. Our CMM's will scan the parts and the Software can export STL files for you to import in to CAD thus enabling the 3D CAD model to be created.

Programming in PCDMIS

Your inspection up-time can be compromised if you are writing new programs unless you use the "offline" facility during long inspection runs.
