Leitz PMM-C 600 / 700 / 1000

Ultra high precision Leitz Coordinate Measuring Machines and Gear Checkers.

The PMM-C series of ultra high precision coordinate measuring machines and gear checkers is suitable for the inspection of standard geometries (i.e. cylinder blocks, gear boxes etc.) as well as for the measurement of special geometries of any kind, such as camshafts, worms, screw compressors and many more.

Coordinate measuring machines of the Leitz PMM-C series are also used as gear checkers. Fast and precise inspection of any kind of gears and gear cutting tools up to a diameter of 1550mm is possible with those machines.

Capable of form inspection.

Design features:

"Closed frame" design with fixed portal and moving table
High resolution steel scales by Heidenhain, with automatic temperature compensation
Pre-stressed air bearings with electronic gap monitoring
Leitz 3D probe system, suitable for probe extensions up to 600mm
Main structure made exclusively of granite and cast iron, avoiding aluminium
Power transmission by re-circulating ball screw drives
